Writer and Director Chris Rodriguez brought to life a the wonderful story of how
Jesus came to be but with a charming and modern twist. What would normally be the story of Mary and Joseph and how they were informed by the Angel Gabriel about the miracle they were to conceive has now been re-imagined by Chris Rodriguez as a modern tale of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The stage adaptation opened to a full house of Grace Covenant Church patrons and visitors from other parts of San Diego. "Tonight you will witness world-class actors and musicians on stage who will dramatize the tale of the birth of Jesus Christ!", Rev. Danny Martinez announced as the audience eagerly awaited for the play to commence.
Boy was he right! Everything from the acting, directing and the musical numbers were really entertaining and very well done! The audience definitely enjoyed "I Can't Believe I'm Carrying Jesus!" "I can't wait for the next production!", stated one of the audience members. "Everything was well done! It was funny, charming and it was definitely not boring!"
